Quite honestly, I don't think I need to say much about these heels. They simply speak for themselves. But I'm torn. Are they brilliant or tasteless & tacky? They're definately quite the statement! Your thoughts?
Your going to dislike me know, I am not a fan but that comes from a gal with Kankels...if I had gorgeous legs that I loved drawing attention to I am sure my answer would be far different.
I'm going to go with tacky if only because snapping a heel and breaking an ankle is certainly not graceful! These look dangerous. xo Josie http://winksmilestyle.blogspot.com
The question is...what statement is the designer of these shoes trying to make? Are they religious and like to profess their faith flamboyantly for show? Or are they just trying to make an outrageous fashion statement in the hopes of being thought of as "edgy" or "controversial"? I find either one distasteful. Notwithstanding whether you believe in Christ or not, I find no possible justification for turning a symbol of crucifixion (an excruciatingly slow and painful death) into a artsy fashion accessory. It’s disrespectful.
i think it's an audacious attempt to be daring or to make a statement. i'm on the tacky side. besides, it looks like the one wearing it is having a hard time.
Lavender - I love what you had to say! Most people spoke about how uncomfortable the shoes would be to walk in but girl, you took it to a whole new level. I love that!

Brilliantly tacky. Is that okay to say that?
That's a walking hazard, if I ever. Wow. I am siding with TACKY! They look as if they will collapse at any moment.
OH WOW! - i dunno WHAT to think of them - FIRST is a drag queen wearing them? - b/c then it's a whole new ballgame ..

Remind me of a Drag Queen that I would see in the Hunt's Point section of the Bronx :)
They're brilliant as a work of art, but as something else - big NO!
this might be your craziest find yet. i like the first comment - brilliantly tacky. really, i'm at a loss for words...
Is it supposed to be a sick or powerful symbolism--standing on Jesus Christ?

Not practical at all. I would prefer to display them than wear them.
They are certainly different. I would never be able to walk in these heels...collectors item perhaps?!SarahD:)
I'm not a fan of the crazy shoe frenzy in fashion, I think totally tacky and a total health hazard.
These are frighteningly tarty shoes!

Question is - are you walking on Jesus, or being supported by Jesus? Generally a no go, however.
