It's the midst of the holiday season and people are busy shopping and decorating and wrapping and baking. And when it comes to baking, I love my cut out cookies and my fudge and my gingerbread men. But this year, this year my friends, I want to bake all new cookies! I want new favorite cookies to add to my must-make list each ear. This is where I need your help.... What is your favorite holiday cookie or bar to make? What is that the one cookie I MUST make this year? Ideas, please!

These are the new favorites in our apartment: Cherry Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies They're not only yummy, they're not terrible for you either! Have a great week! xoxo {av}
Ha ha, I buy those cranberry white chocolate bars at Starbucks! ;) XX!
We are Gluten free here. Cherry brook kitchen makes a great sugar cookie mix which we add thinly sliced gum drops to, bake and volia! Stained glass sugar cookies. :)
MY favorite, because they are so unusual are vinegar cookies.
They taste so good and are so easy to make and nobody ever believes they are made out of vinegar.
I am searching for new stuff to make too - though my only pattern so far seems to be caffeinated and more caffeinated (super-strong expresso brownies, for starters...), which I learned the hard way does NOT help holiday mania! :) I'd love to see what you make.
I normally make 12-15 different kinds, double and triple batches. The ones that are the biggest hit are chocolate covered cherries, chocolate cookie base with a cream filling cherry and chocolate drizzle. They are a beautiful cookie too. Candy bar cookies a sugar cookie base the carmel and fudge topped with a pecan.
Everyone really likes finska kahor, almond cookie with sugar and nuts sprinkle drizzles with chocolate.
If you want any of the recipes email me. My email is on my blog.
I LOVE gingerbread cookies, yum yum yum

Ps: I am hosting a beautiful home decor GIVEAWAY today, just in time for Christmas!
we have a family sugar cookie recipe that I would probably die if I didn't make or at least get to eat one year :) the icing is a really thin cream/confectioners sugar/vanilla blend glaze. MMMM and always right out of the freezer (don't ask)
I joined location central- awesome site idea!
I don't have ideas to give cause I also want new ones! make sure to post the final ones here so we can steal some ;)
