Converse - Still All-Stars
I'm being serious now but I had no idea converse shoes were still in. I mean they're really in. According to the fashionistas, these (not louboutins) are what the cool people are wearing ;-) But no, my friends, I seriously need to start looking for a new pair. I got rid of my black low tops years and years ago. And quite honestly, I have no idea why, I loved them and used to wear them every single day! Do you still wear yours? What color do/did you sport?

Oh, how I wish I could wear Converse (or Keds or Pumas for that matter). But my insanely high arches deem them way too uncomfortable. They are so adorable, though. And if I could, I would rock a bright yellow.

I never wore converse before (when I was young) but I bought a pair this year, and I love them! they are black with beige rims and shoelaces. loved your pics! xo

I love that they are coming back!!!! I'm debating on which color to get! I like the dark pink ones or the bright green ones. I think they will look so cute with some jean shorts and a floral top. :D
I have never owned a pair of Converse but after seeing that bottom left picture I REALLY want a black pair :)
I love my converse!! They're the most comfortable shoes ever. I only own black ones, but I'm thinking about saving some money and getting a more colorful pair.
I used to have a black pair and got rid of mine too and now I'm kicking myself for it. I'd love to get a turquoise or purple pair. That's going on my wish list. :)
Love the black ones! When ever I see someone wearing converse shoes I can't help but think they're cool.
The last time I wore Converse, I was in elementary school and trying to dress like Punky Brewster. I probably just made myself sound really old lol.

Haha, I'm wearing my converse as I read this. I don't do it to be cool... but they are better looking than regular sneakers!
I have found newfound love of Converse; it kinda passed me by first time round! I have them (white), my kids have them (red and black), my husband has them (grey). We are slightly obsessed...
I am with Louise, my love of them is newfound too!
My daughter has been wearing them since last year but it's only been the last month or so, that I have bought two pairs.....navy and purple.
I walked all over Paris in mine and they were so comfy, LOVE them!!!

i have purple ones which are my favorite. and high top pink ones! i also have red ones that i've had since i was 14. haha. and i still wear them!!

Chucks are so fun! You can design your own, paint them... so much to do! Haha, I have a boring pair of black high tops, but am definitely looking into something more interesting. :D

I'm a huge fan of the slip ons but think I might have to grab a pair of the white high tops. Boyish but cute!

Yay for converse! I have a patchwork pair from college and they are dirty and worn out but love them still! I saw a cute sparkle pair in O Magazine this month...so fun!
I love seeing Converses paired with bare legs. I have an old, beat-up pair of black ones, and since I've lost the shoelaces, I've strung them with pink ribbon. They're suuuuper comfy.

as much as i like them i am alays confused about how to pair them right what kind of clothes to wear them with ,but they are actually so much fun when worn right also helps if you have to run around the whole day
You know just last sunday I saw a girl sporting a pair of white knee high Converse! I scratched my head for a while....
I have pair os black Skechers that look like Converse, I should try wearing them more often.

and also a hi-top beige with blue shoelace rims and a brown with pink&white butterflies on it..

Yes, I still have mine and they are soooo worn out! They're black low tops w/black laces. They're so old, they're faded. I keep meaning to buy new one's but the one's I have are too comfy and they know me so well:)

Love the old converse, but now that my teenage kids wear them, I feel like I maybe shouldn't any more. But I might buy myself a new pair just to upset them! K xx

I wear mine everywhere!! So comfy. So cool. Sadly, they're not my natural canvas originals...but an exact replica. My son rocks the black hi-tops. Love that he thinks I'm pretty hip because of them. Great post, as always I continue to enjoy your blog!!

I love mine I have 3 pairs, 2 in white, but mine are leather instead of canvas, they last so much longer and get better with age and I also have a beige pair in canvas....love photo 6.... such a classic !!!
Great post - I really love the studded converse (I've seen them on a lot of blogs lately - do you know if it's DIY or if they're actually sold in stores? - cause if I can't get hold of the Missoni ones I would go for the studded version....)

Miri - Go for the Missoni ones that you have on your site! Those are fab. But as for the studded one's pictured I'm sure they're not DIY (although you probably could if you wanted to) but I'd google them and see if you can find them anywhere. Good luck on your search!
OMG, the pic of Demi is so beautiful. I only wear hightops, of course, with Swarovski crystals, you know the unpretentious ones.
Ladies - I was just at Target last night and had no idea they carried converse!! They had some great pink ones, denim ones and a bunch of other colors. And guess what? They were on sale for cheap... think they were about 16 bucks!!
heck yea! these never go outta style as far as I'm concerned. I love that you posted about them! I sport bright color low tops - I have a purple pair and a green pair. my boyfriend sports more neutral colors like black, brown and grey. I want to get high-tops. what color do you think I should get?!
