Do or Don't
Ok, summer is here and I think I'm comfortable in admitting that going to a nude or topless beach someday is on my bucket list. It probably won't be this year as I haven't been doing as many sit ups as I'd like but I'm getting there. (Because when in Rome...!) But let me ask all of you, going to a nude or topless beach, is this a do or don't for you? Would you ever do it? Have you done it?

DO IT! - it's very freeing! - i'm a bit of a nudist - i think going to a nuddy beach and taking ur top off will feel VERY freeing - GO FOR IT!

I've personally never gone nude at a beach but as a child growing up in Europe it was common to see both girls and boys just wearing small trunks or bikini bottoms for their first ~8-10 years. I probably did myself but don't remember. Also adults will take the liberty to make it a nudist beach if they choose. No sign required! It always seems to be old men though. I think you should do it! I'm not sure I'd be up for taking the bottoms off though.
not I haven't well, as a little kid doesn't count I think, haha! ;)

i have gone topless before in the dominican republic but we were at a more euro style resort as opposed to one geared towards americans. it was also the summer after the senior year of high school with friends (and the girls aren't as perky now haha.) i didn't walk around without a top though. i just felt too exposed. just for laying out.

I've done it! It's called Hippie Hollow off of Lake Travis, in Austin, Tx. I will add that I was not topless. hehehehe. Trust me...I am far over a DDD cup and no one would wanna see those. But if you feel comfortable enough, do it! Of course, why not? ...our bodies are gorgeous pieces of work. Everyone there was so relaxed.....
Oh! Don't forget the sunscreen on the nips. That could hurt. Ouch.
I´m not comfortable topless and would not go to a beach and sunbade like that - but I´m not bothered by those who do either. To each their own. :-)

Two summers ago in Greece I was THIS CLOSE to taking my top off though it wasn't officially a nude beach. In hindsight, and now post-baby, I regret that I didn't do it. Because I definitely don't have the boobs I used to now!

when I go to the beach (hello it's the Côte d'Azur) there are always woman without tops, personally I don't mind BUT you have to be in a certain good shape and minus 40 years old otherwise it's kind of weird I think. When I have to look at the huge breasts of a 60year old woman with weird nipples I'm disgusted, sorry! This sounds so superficial haha but that's how I feel. I've never done it tough, maybe this year? :)

DO! After a few drinks on the beaches of the greek isles, I was all about it. It is freeing, liberating, all that they say and more! I wasn't my slimmest then either but figured, what the heck, might as well cross an item off the bucket list!
hummm, maybe. If the right opportunity and location presented themselves. I burn easily though (the result of which I don't even want to think about)
If it's on your bucket list you absolutely have to go for it.

I've been to a few, but I'm such a fair skinned gal that it's rare to see me laying out full clothed, much less topless!
I did it when I was in Greece. It felt wierd at first but after awhile it was kind of fun! It was a little easier because the only person I knew was my husband :)

Yes I have. It was a gay beach, so honestly, none of the guys were looking at me, so I was very comfortable.
My advice, do it on vacation. Then you'll never have to see anyone again. :)

I actually did when I was younger in Greece. I think I was 16 and everyone was topless there so I did it. I also think I went completely nude there one time. Since then I've kept my bikini on but the beach I go to is a nude beach. There isn't that much nudity there but I'll be there the entire summer and said that I could see myself doing the topless thing again sooner or later.

I say do it! We've traveled all over Europe and have been to several topless beaches (mostly Greece, also Nice). It's no big deal at all there, but here everyone would be all pissed off about it (at least the ladies). Hey if you got it flaunt it!
Hi! In Spain it is common to see topless women at the beach (any beach), and we also have nude beaches. (And not everybody is fit).
I have sunbathed topless, and it was ok, but be careful and sunscreen! You don't want your breasts to hurt that much.
Try, that's my advice.

Growing up in Europe I had people *women I mean* around me that were topless which was no big deal. Even kids walked around naked, or girls topless until a certain age.
Personally it's nothing for me, but I think it's okay to go topless if you feel like it. And if you want to go all the way, try it. At least you can tell whether or not you like it.
And yes, I just read Robin's comment...the nude older guys are kinda weird. When I see nude beaches or areas and all, it's usually old men. Hmmm. Not saying it's weird, but that's what I've mostly seen so far. Ha!

Just was not comfortable, i felt like everyone was looking at me !
Have done in my late teens... Would do it now pregnant as love my body with a big fat bump to hide the real fat that is so stretched out! ha ha.
After this pregnancy maybe never again. Boobs...not so good. Rolls of fat I'm guessing will take a LONG time to totally disappear if ever...also not so good. Hmm we'll see! But nobody wants to be grossed out by the old saggy one trying to relive her youth! ha ha
And i'm talking topless not full on nudie but whatever floats your boat i guess. Who cares?!

I don't have a problem with it. We used to frequent a topless beach in Switzerland when I was younger, and we were married on one too. Don't worry, no nipples in our wedding photos ;)

as for the old women with the saggy bits, it makes me feel empowered to be out there with them, i mean look at them... they embrace their bodies, "flaws" and all, & don't give a flip what others think. in a way, i think they are more interesting than the toned, tan, and taut bodies of their counterparts. each say and wrinkle tells a story of children births, memories had, food eaten, and places gone. i strive to be that cool when i am older. just one woman's opinion.
We are from Europe, it is normal to go topless and very relaxing and liberating. Here in North America it took a bid of an adjustment to understand that it was uncommon ........
