Socks + Heels = Fabulousness
Ladies, I'm not sure we can give men a hard time anymore when they wear socks with their sandals because according to the fashion blogs, socks are in this summer! And socks with heels are even better! Not sure I'll be attempting this trend this summer but I have to say, it looks pretty cute!

this is only cute if you are 5'11" and weight 120 lbs. otherwise i can't see many people pulling it off. am i being pessimistic?

Yes I totally love the look but it totally wouldn't work on my legs...
Well, for me, I lived through the trend the first time, so I'm sitting it out the second - remember the little white socks, pumps, and acid washed jeans? These are more stylish though!
All I can say is, ew.
You know...If you were just telling me this about the socks with no photos I is would automatically say NO WAY...but the photo's are gorgeous and it actually looks great!
I like it but like Ahn said....5'11 can pull it off. not someone like me who is only 4'11:]
I might try it one day when Im feeling brave!

I think that's a look that could only work in the highly stylized photo shoot world. I would look so silly wearing any of these looks!!!

I think it only seems to look cute in photoshoots or on models. But the pictures are really sweet :)
I think this trend is so cute but really hard to adopt if you don't have long legs, and this is my case!

There are some times that I am so very happy about living in Smalltown, VA. This style will never make it here. At least...I don't think it will.
I said that about skinny jeans, and now I have 3 pair.

Socks and heels....I've seen this in quite a few magazines and on blogs...Personally I don't see this little Lilly lover heading down that fashion path. Besides, what about tan lines? But the photo shoots above are amazing! :)

I agree with most of the commenters that this looks really cute on the models, but would make me look schlumpy.
It does look pretty cute on those gorgeous girls and some of those shoes are incredible! Not happening for me though... :)

That's crazy, because I just saw some hipster kids from SCAD (Savannah College of Art & Design) on Sunday totally rockin' the socks and heels! I say, it's a great look for others!
I love this look (but, I must admit, I have never mustered up the guts myself to try it).

I think I may have passed my 'use-by-date' on this particular trend , but I totally agree that it looks great!

I've got to agree with Ahn, and I can't say I'd really say this is fabulous.
Wait, that is oddly much cuter than I would have ever guessed. But I'm sure would look awful on me. Why is that so cute! But then again Ahn kind of says it right :)

This sock+sandal trend has been around since last summer in SPain.... I keep looking at it and like you find it extremely cute on other people but I am not quite sure that I would go there...
