Do or Don't

I'm a gigantic fan of The Sartorialist, mostly because of the men's fashion. I LOVE seeing what trendy men are wearing these days.. or at least the men of Milan. But when I came across these two gentlemen, I was a little torn. Do a like the hodgepodge of colors, patterns and textures? Is it brilliant or way too much? What do you think my friends... do or don't?

As long as they wear the clothes with confidence and ease, I think it's okay.:D

not sure about the first guy. but i think the second guy looks fine - although he has different patterns he keeps a cohesive color scheme which makes it work.

I think its pretty brilliant! I love when people dress with a purpose and you know these outfits weren't done by accident

I think they are both amazing
I am jealous of those who live life with such style.
My sister can put outfits together with every pattern imaginable and it comes of looking so clean and polished.
I wish I had this knack of pattern matching.

Ummmm...I'm afraid that there's something about both of them that would be a no for my husband, but hey! I say 'Wear YOU'! I won't be mad atcha!! LOL

I think if something is worn with confidence, you can always carry it off....and these two definitely do!! Those Milanese are really something - don't they always look so fabulous on The Sartorialist, particularly the older guys :)

A do! If they can pull it off and both of these men can.

it's a bit much for my personal taste, but separate the patterns a bit and it would be great.

I say don't, however, I think it is that quirkiness that pushes them over the top to get noticed! So, to each their own, I say. Always have.

A ballsy look, although it's probably not for me. I think you should top out at two patterns, although no. 2 pulls it off by keeping the colors similar!

i like it! as long as you can pull it off with ease and confidence, it'll look like you're wearing the clothes and not the other way around!

It really is what makes us all so different in so many ways..I like the top photo more so than the bottom and I see others like the opposite..I say to each his own..
and thank goodness we have the option to choose..Life is Good...

I like their looks. A bit quirky, but super fun.

Looovee the first guy The coat is bold so the tie just kind of fades into the background. Also the colors go, I think its fab. The second guy.....not so much. Too many bold in your face patterns. But thats just me.

hehehe... don't.

Definite do. Not all could pull this off but these two definitely do...but I already said that!

To be honest with you, babe, I think I would be okay with whatever the cutie in the first pic wanted to wear. He's so adorable, I can't imagine much looking bad on him.

I really like both looks. My husband wouldn't and couldn't wear it, but love the European influence/confidenc.

That first pic..LOVE ...the way he is not afraid to wear purple..LOVE IT!
The second pic..not totally sold on the printed suit...would have been better as a solid for me.

Actually yes, I do really like these outfits. They clash in a really classy way. Plus they appear to have the confidence to carry the outfit, and that means everything.

I actually like it!

At first I doubted but I was sold by my second glance.

I think I love it too but I'm guessing not many men would even want to attempt to pull it off!! ;-)
